Monday in the back yard

Since I will be playing Disc Golf on the road on Tuesday and Wednesday, I decided to do some practice putting at home. I really don't practice much at home since I get out often and play lots of Disc Golf on the local courses. I really should make a point of practice putting at home every day. Even if it is only for 5 minutes.

Here is a video of today's putting practice.

Hi Mr. Ed, The baskets are between 10 and 15 meters. The discs are all Omega Supersoft putters except one discraft putter that is totally different in shape from the other putters.

Hi Mr. Ed! Love the great questions. Firebirds are my favorite disc and I have been known to throw them on drives, approaches and putts :) I have used the Firebird before for one disc events. I do like Teebirds too and Orcs, KC Pro Cheetah, Eagle, Wraith, Viking, Leopard, Beast, Monster, Valkyrie...Just to name a few drivers. I like throwing with max weight, my preference is 175 grams, although over the last 6 months I have opted to add a 150 class driver to the bag and sometimes use it to drive when I want crank a flat shot and keep from it from hyzering out, 150 class is a easier to control (getting older). I usually use a putter from 60 feet in. And I only like using a putter to putt with not to drive. I don't like throwing a flat stable approach shot and usually throw a firebird skip approach, s-shot or hyzer lawn dart shot. I love throwing at angles, which has been another key to my Ace success. Keep those great questions coming!

hey now cubby, thanks for the info.Know all too well about the age thing, been throwing some sort of frisbee since the 60's.Spent our summer's playing and thinking of some far out games. The standard street frisbeeball(football/baseball) and an early game of target golf.Any object in the neighborhood, town was fair game since we never left home without the frisbee.Grew up in Dunellen,NJ. just down the road from Piscataway.Peace. mr ed
