Sunday Disc Golf at Rutgers, Green Acres, and Bunker Hill

Headed up to Rutgers Disc Golf Course early Sunday morning to meet Keith S. from Freeport, IL. Keith has been following my YOUTUBE videos and had the chance to travel to New Jersey so we made arrangements to meet and play some Disc Golf at Rutgers. Keith you are now a part of Cubby's Disc Golf World. It was great to throw some rounds with you my friend.

Big John joined us for round number 2. We took a video of the round. See who took the victory. It came down to the last hole. Someone crashed the chains on a hole too, did it stay in????

We played one more round of doubles Cubby and Keith against Big John and Miguel. Cubby and Keith took the win.

After playing at Rutgers, Cubby, Big John, and Miguel headed to Tim E.'s Green Acres Disc Golf Course. Tim's friend Mike (not pictured) joined us for round 1.

Miguel had to leave after round 1. Cubby and Big John stayed for one more round. Tim took round 1 and Tim and Cubby tied round 2.

After Green Acres Cubby and Big John headed to Rob Z.'s Bunker Hill Disc Golf Course to play for the rest of the day in the rain.

Friday / Saturday Disc Golf at Manalapan, Bunker Hill, and Rutgers

Patty, Cubby, Miguel, Heather, and Erin

Went to work for a couple of hours on Friday morning before heading to Manalapan Recreation Center Disc Golf Course to throw some rounds with Miguel and his family minus his son sleeping at home.

Andrew, Cubby, and Jay

As Miguel and his family were leaving the course, I ran into Jay and Andrew. We played 9 holes. I was reunited with a Champion Leopard I lost at Rutgers on Hole 10 during a round of Night Disc Golf a couple of weeks ago found by Andrew.

Got a call from Rob inviting me over to his Bunker Hill Disc Golf Course for some rounds. Got in lots of holes finishing well into the night.

After I left Rob's course it started raining and instead of calling it a day and heading home, I decided to head up to Rutgers for more Disc Golf. It was raining hard and with windy conditions. I played in the rain for five hours, finishing Saturday morning at 2:30 AM. I got my 265th Ace. It was my first forehand Ace, a lefty forehand Ace. I had lots of ace runs during this outing but only one turned into an Ace.

Wednesday Disc Golf at Manalapan and Rutgers

Got a call from Big John while I was at work asking if I wanted to play Disc Golf. I needed to get out and play so we headed to Manalapan Recreation Center Disc Golf Course. We got in 54 holes.

After playing at Manalapan we headed to Rutgers and got in 72 holes. Thanks Big John for getting me out to the course for some much needed stress relief. Miguel, sorry I missed your call today, it would have been great to throw some rounds with you today. Rob, thanks for the phone call today, I appreciate your concern. Lots of Ace runs today but no Aces for either me or Big John. Heading to the hospital tonight to stay with Mom overnight.

Merry Christmas to all

I hope everyone has a joyous Christmas. Here is my putter on the Christmas Tree. My Disc Golf activity will be cut back as my Mom has been in the hospital since Saturday. I am trying to spend as much time with her as possible. It's times like these that really puts into focus what is important in life and has real meaning. There is so much we take for granted that we should be so thankful for and let those dear to us know how much we appreciate how much they mean to us. Seasons Greetings, Cubby

Friday Morning (Night) Disc Golf at Rutgers

Headed up to Rutgers for some Disc Golf. Got to the course at 1:30 AM and I played until 4:30 AM. No picture of me at Basket 15 as the photo got corrupted on my computer and I had already deleted the original picture from the camera.

Today I broke the century mark for Aces this year. My best year for Aces was in 2006 with 111.

Got my 263rd and 264th Aces. Two Skip Aces on basket 9. I also hit basket 2 and 13 but no ace.

Tim, Cubby, Don, Rob, Miguel

Headed over to Rob's Bunker Hill Disc Golf Course for the annual Rob's Birthday Disc Golf Event. In the above photo can you tell who was messing with my hat just before the picture was taken?

Cubby made a birdie from here on hole 12. Can you see the chains? The throw was lefty with a firebird, a near impossible shot :) I did not throw around the tree I threw through the tree!

After playing 3 rounds at Rob's we headed to Tim's Green Acres Disc Golf Course for a round.

Saturday Night Disc Golf at Rutgers

Headed up to Rutgers after work to get in some rounds of Disc Golf before the Noreaster arrived. Played from 6 to 8:30PM. I got my 261st and 262nd Aces. A pair of Skip Aces. The first one came on the second hole I played :) I am feeling much better today after a couple of days of taking medicine and a couple of Skip Ace pills ;)

PUPPY UPDATE:
The new puppy, Daisy, loves to watch me putt in the yard. She barks once when I make it in and when I miss she tags the disc. Looking forward to taking her on the course when the weather is nicer. She loves her dog frisbee. Before Daisy I hardly ever practiced putting at home since I spent lots of time out on the course, but now Daisy has got me practice putting everytime I take her out in the yard. Watch out my local friends, my putting is getting even better! I've also devloped a great 40 foot forehand roller with a putter, she likes chasing those too.

BTW Big John, It was a year ago today that you gave me back my putter that you Ace'd with :) I've been breaking in a back-up (165 gram white Omega Super Soft Putter) when I am out playing solo just in case you sneak my go to putter out of my bag and Ace with it again on hole 9.

Monday Night Disc Golf at Rutgers

Headed up to Rutgers for some Disc Golf on a windy and rainy night. The temp was a very comfy 66 degrees. Not bad for late November in New Jersey. I played from 9PM until 1AM. I love playing in the wind. I had a close chance encounter with a skunk but fortuantely I did not get sprayed.

Saturday Disc Golf at Rutgers

Headed out to Rutgers in the early afternoon to meet Big John and throw some rounds on a picture perfect fall day. Lots of color on the course as yesterdays winds dropped lots of leaves on the course. I got my 258th Ace on Hole 5. It was a nice Skip shot off of a tree. This was only my second Ace on Hole 5 (My first was my 18th Ace). I got todays Ace with my new Star Destroyer. I have to get more Destroyers, I love the way that disc flies and skips.
