Cubby gets his 99th ACE

My second Ace of the day. This Ace was recorded on video by Big John while I was playing a match against Mark. Big John was also on the camera for another video Ace, my 95th Ace. Check out the video below by clicking twice on the center arrow.

Cubby gets his 98th ACE

After working a long day and finishing work at 2:30 AM I headed to Rutgers for some night Disc Golf. Got to the course at 3:30 AM and played until 10:30 AM on a very hot and humid day. This was my first of two Aces on 7/30/2006.

Cubby gets his 97th ACE

Well while everyone else in the world was sleeping at 1:15 AM on 27 July 2006, I was banging chains and getting an ACE. Hmmmmmmmm. Come to think about it, this skip Ace was a silent ace. No sound what so ever, just the disc sitting in the basket when I walked around the trunk of the big tree shielding Hole 18's basket from view from the tee and the fairway. When I threw the drive I could see the skip shot and it looked as if the disc was going right for where the basket was but there was no sound and I did not see the disc come out from around the tree and go OB so I glanced at my watch just in case I had the Ace. This ace is dubbed "The Silent Ace". You can also check out the picture below of some of my closest Disc Golf buddies that came out to play in the wee hours of the morning with Cubby. Me, Myself, and I. Lots of Aces by that foursome.

Cubby gets his 96th ACE

Rob and I played a round at 5:45 AM and then Rob headed to his Tuesday morning class. I started another round and took some shots at an alternate basket position on hole 9 that would lengthen the hole making it a little harder. Rob had a marker post set up for the new position. After trying various routes to the alternate basket position I then headed back to the car for some refreshing gatorade and started the round again on hole 8 (the usual starting hole) and I got the skip Ace on hole 9's regular basket.

Cubby's first video ACE

Went back through the archives and thought I would post my first video Disc Golf hole In One. Jay was filming my foursome during a tag round at Rutgers Disc Golf Course in New Brunswick, NJ when he caught my 38th Ace on Hole 18. My first of 2 Aces that day.

Cubby teaches Disc Golf

I conducted a 12 person Disc Golf Clinic for Ocean County Park today. The clinic was 6-8 PM. It was a diverse group and I had a blast sharing what I know about Disc Golf. Here is a picture of the group.

Disc Golf and Fishing

I played an early morning round with Rob at Rutgers then I headed to the Atlantic Highlands to go out on a fishing boat with Big John and his Brother-in-law. Cubby wins with a blue fish, a skate, and 3 fluke. Big John's Brother-in law got 2 Fluke and Big John got a Blue fish. Check out the spoof pictures of Cubby and Big John on the bow of the Sea Hunter (Fish added for effect).

Cubby gets his 93rd ACE

Here is a picture of Rob and Cubby at Rutgers.

Early morning round before Rob showed up to play. Always nice to get an ACE on your first round. After Rob showed up we played a round and then I headed home to go to the beach. Highly unusual for me not to spend Tuesday playing DG all day.

Cubby gets Two ACES

A Racoon greets me as I arrive at the course.

ACE 90

ACE 91

After a long days work I went right to the course and arrived around 4AM and I got ACEs in back to back rounds. A Racoon was there to greet me and lots of skunks were on the course. Eric M., joined me later for a couple of rounds then it was back home for a power nap and back to work again. I was pretty tired by the time 2AM rolled around and I got off of work. What can I say, you got to play Disc Golf when you can.
