Sunday Disc Golf at Bunker Hill

Headed over to Rob's private Bunker Hill Disc Golf Course for some Disc Golf before going to work. Today was Rob's annual Labor Day Weekend Party. Rob and I played a round of 18 for Bunker Hill Tags. Cubby had the lower tag. Rob needed to beat Cubby out right for the tag. Rob was up by 4 with 5 holes to go. Rob pars the last 5 holes. Cubby with some long putts birdies 4 of the last 5 for the tie and to keep the lower tag :) After the round Cubby got his 319th Ace. I also got to throw some holes with Rob's friends Pete and Bill before the Burgers were ready.

Saturday (Night Disc Golf) Morning Disc Golf at Rutgers in the pouring rain

Doppler Radar showing rain across New Jersey.

Headed up to Rutgers after work on Friday. Got to the course at 2:30AM on Saturday morning. It was raining so hard I could not take my camera out on the course. Good thing I always Disc Golf in a bathing suit so I am always prepared to get soaking wet in the rain. I had my Goretex socks on so my feet stayed dry. I got my 318th Ace on Hole 18. A lefty Skip Ace with an Innova Champion Firebird.

The camera flash catches the rain drops failing.

Saturday is the Am portion of the 2008 Jersey Jam Disc Golf Tournament. There were 82 players competing on Saturday. I won the Masters Divison by 2 strokes over my friend Tim Gannota, we tied for second last year at the Jam. It was a great event that included lunch.

Mel from Brooklyn, NY won the Grand Master Divsion. Fortunately he did not end up in a tree like he did here in practice.

Here is a shot of everyone at the players meeting. 82 Players showed up for the event.

Here is my foursome for the first round of the tournament.

Tuesday Disc Golf at Bunker Hill and Wednesday Disc Golf at Rutgers

Cubby, Rob, Rob's son Chris

Headed up to Rob's private Bunker Hill Disc Golf Course in the early afternoon on Tuesday for a day of Disc Golf.

Cubby, Tom K., Rob, and Miguel.

Miguel and Tom K. joined us after they got out of work.

Here we are for a round of Night Disc Golf. First one to 10 under wins. Cubby after making a tough putt for his 7th birdie in a row hit his left shin on a stump resulting in some good bleeding under the skin. Cubby continued on to get to 10 birdies in a row, a first for the Bunker Hill Night Disc Golf layout.

After the round Rob's wife Laura and Miguel patched me up and Rob flagged me from playing anymore Disc Golf, so I headed home. On the way home I called Chris L. to see if he was up for some rounds at Rutgers. We started our first round at Midnight.

Chris and I got in three rounds. Chris took the last round, nicely done Chris!
