Twin Parks Country Club

Chris, Thanks for the link on your page:

A shout out to all the Disc Golfers down in the Twin Parks Country Club in Texas!

Check out this website: http://twinparkscountryclub.com/index.html

What a really cool concept in fun. Two 18 Hole Disc Golf courses and so much more to do. This would be an outstanding vacation getaway for all Disc Golfers. I gotta make it out there someday.

Whitcombe Farm in Dorset, England also has a cottage that you can rent and one of the two best disc golf courses in England. Its not quite as polished as this appears to be but another disc'in holiday option. I also thought there was another similar place in the mid-west somewhere but I can't find the link right now.

SOunds like another nice option for Disc Golfers. I wish I could find some Disc Golf in Puerto Rico. I'll be heading there on Tuesday for 11 days. No computer and no Disc Golf. It should be a very realxing and healing experience.

I'm not sure I can feel sorry for you about the lack of Disc Golf. I tied for a second but then remembered that Puerto Rico is an absolutely fantastic place. You could always just throw discs on the beach.

I think I will bring some putters with me to Purto Rico and maybe even my Innova Travler portable target. Practice putting on the beach sounds like a plan :)

Yeah, I'm jealous. One of my best friends is in the Coast Guard and just sent me pics from down there. It looks like a good time of year to be putting on the beach. Do you like that portable target or is it really just a something to shoot at?

The Innova Traveler is a cool target. The only thing is you have to make sure your putters are not nicked up or the fabric mesh that is around the chians will get damaged. Definately cool for the beach.

I recently built my own basket. I tried to come as close to duplicating an actual basket but with less hardy materials. Its not so portable as I could get it on a plane but I'm definately looking forward to taking it down to the lake this summer. I'll post pics on my site and drop you a link.
