Cubby gets 2 Aces in Delaware!
Spent my day off in Delaware Disc Golfing. I started out at Cape Henlopen where I got my 125th Ace. During the round I was playing 2 discs per hole so if you look close you will see the first disc played just before the Ace with the second disc, and that's the Hole Truth!

After playing Henlopen I played at Killen's Pond where I got my 126th Ace.

You know you're not getting another tag until you hit the 250th ace.
Thanks for the pics, 2 courses I have not played, but they look nice.
The Bunker Hill clubhouse is almost done.....hope to see you....maybe on the 23rd? for some NightGolf?
Rob, The 23rd sounds great!
Thanks for the comment! Although getting an Ace is the ultimate Disc Golf experience, the most important aspect of Disc Golf is putting. The yellow disc in my hand is my putter, or as my great friend Big John calls my putter, the magic disc. Putting is the best part of my game. As amazing as an Ace can be, putting is the key to playing your best Disc Golf. As you will find, it is the most important Disc in your bag. So everytime I play now, I take a picture at a basket on the course and the disc I choose to hold is my most important disc, my putter. The saying in ball game holds true in disc golf "Drive for show, putt for dough".
I like Burke Lake, I used to live there before I took up Disc Golf. I have played the course a long time ago, hoping to get down there and play again. I love tight wooded courses, puts everyone on the same playing field. makes the big arms have to hit the technical shots.
I'll agree having a great drive is the best way to get the duece and that is what I strive for first.
The putter I use is a super soft Omega.
I started out using an Aviar putter and at some poiint I switched to an Omega, it seemed to stay lower and fly staighter than the avair, then I switched to a JK Avair 3X, But after a while that putter did not hold the line anymore. I then switched to a Q-Mega, and did well with it until I lost that putter, then I went back to a Omega and I just like the feel of that disc in my hand and I have hit some pretty long putts with it.
Enjoy your trip to Richmond and all the cool courses you will be playing down that way. My favorite course is down in Newport News, south of Richmond, where I learned to play. No one played more DG on that course then me back in 1998.
