Sunday at Rutgers

Headed up to Rutgers at 11AM for a Day of Disc Golf. Started the day later than usual as Big John was planning to play Night Disc Golf as he had plans for the day so I was going to pace myself so I could last for Night Disc Golf. When I got to the course I saw Big John's vehicle and then my cell phone rang. Big John's plans changed so he was able to make it out to the course early. He was calling me from the Campus Cafeteria where he was having breakfast with Jay. I played some until Big John and Jay arrived back at the course.

We got to play a round until Don arrived at the course. In the picture Don is trying take matters in his own hands with the choker hold to try to overcome Cubby's putting.

We played some regular rounds and a round using a deck of Cards called RIPT. It is a Disc Golf Game that allows you to spring situations on your fellow players.

Here is the website for RIPT:

Then we played another round before Don had to head home. Jay stayed for one more round and Big John and I played two more rounds before calling it a day.

Thanks to Big John, Jay and Don for a fun day of Disc Golf.

One Year Anniversary of the Blog!

I started this Blog on 3 March 2006. It was a great year and the blog has grown with content and readers. Happy Birthday CDGW Blog!

BTW, During the period of 3 March 2006 thru 2 March 2007 I played Disc Golf rounds on 134 days and got 116 Aces. It requires passion, dedication, sacrifice, motivation, and a burning desire to play every chance you get. All I can say is Play more Disc Golf!

Put yourself on the CDGW map!

Thought I would post a Frapper Map to the blog to see where you good blog readers live. Feel free to add yourself to the map on the top right side of the blog.

Friday Night at Rutgers

Cubby goes Disc Golfing without his camera!

I did not think there was any chance of me playing Disc Golf today so I was unprepared when I had to go up to South River to get a part for my daughters vehicle. Since Rutgers was close by I headed to the course to get in some rounds after I picked up the part. The Nikon Digital Camera I normally carry was at home so no pictures from the course (Had to wait till I got home to put some pictures together). I arrived at the course at 6PM and got in three rounds. I got my 176th Ace during the third round. A nice Skip Ace.

More Cubby in the media

Here is some video of Cubby reporting from The "One and Done" Disc Golf Tournament at Tyler State park Disc Golf Course. This is a new feature Kevin has added to his Disc Golf Monthly website to update viewers on a weekly basis. My Blog entry for 24 February 2007 refers to the event.
