Jason gets his 4th Ace!
Got a call from Jason our good friend from Dekalb, IL., while I was at work. He let me know that he got his 4th Ace on a 250+ feet hole. Congrats Jason on a nice Ace! The only thing better than getting an Ace is hearing from a friend that he got an Ace. Thanks for the call!

Monday Night at Rutgers
Headed up to Rutgers after work for some Disc Golf. BOB, Jay and Cubby got in a round and a half before BOB had to leave. Jay and Cubby continued playing until 10PM.
BOB gives Jay the Homer. The Homer was established to recognize the player that had the worse score when playing a round against fellow Disc Devils. When it was first established you had to actually carry the Homer around in your non-throwing hand while playing the round. Good to see the Homer making the rounds.

Road Trip cancelled
A rainy day at the Jersey Shore
Big John is down in Virginia and I was going to drive down there and play some Disc Golf on Tuesday and Wednesday but due to the bad weather that has hit the mid-atlantic and North east the trip has been cancelled. Hopefully we can get out and play as soon as the rain goes away and the ground dries up.

Shout out to Kevin in Louisiana
Just wanted to say Hi to Kevin in Shreveport, LA. He sent me this nice note via YOUTUBE:
Hey Cubby,
Love the podcasts! Just wondering if you ever make it down to the south? I live in Shreveport, La. and we have a couple of nice courses here. I am relatively new to the sport, but my friends and I are really enjoying it. We can't finish up a round before trying to figure out when the next time we can play again! Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy the podcasts, and hope to get my first ace soon. Came close last night....parked it against the pole! Have a great weekend.
Kevin

Kevin, It's always great to hear from a fellow Disc Golfer that has the passion for the sport. Looking forward to hearing about your first Ace. Sounds like you and your friends are really into it. If anyone can appreciate that, it is me. Your area is on a list of places I want to play if I can ever get away and take a long road trip. Keep in touch!
