Sunday Disc Golf at Rutgers and the Jersey Jam warm-up event

Cubby, Dave, and Kyle.

Headed up to Rutgers Disc Golf Course on Sunday morning to compete in the Jersey Jam warm-up Disc Golf Tournament before going to work. During the first round I played with Dave and Kyle pictured above.

Curtis, Cubby, Kyle, and Ken.

Here is the group I played with during the second round of the event. It was a fun event but Cubby played about as bad as he can remember during an event. My putting was terrible and so was my long and short game. The 4th of July weekend work must have run me down as well as all the playing I have been getting in lately. Anyways that's my excuse and I am sticking to it :)

It was nice to see Alan Sweeton at the event. He is battling some very serious health problems and to see him at the course was an uplifting experience. You can follow what has been going on with Alan on the PDGA forums. We all wish for a speedy and full recovery for our dear friend Alan. He is a really nice guy form a very nice family.

Thanks to everyone that helped with the event including Tim bringing lots of burgers and hot dogs.

Kyle to the Am Division. Nice work. World Champion Disc Golfer Joe Mela won the Open Division. My apololgies on not posting the winner of the Ladies Division, Intermediate Am Division, and Recreational Division. I will at a later date when I get the names of who won.

It was great to see all of my Disc Golf friends at Rutgers.

Cubby gets a visit at work on the 4th of July

On a very busy day at work, a fellow Disc Golfer stopped by the store to say hello. Scott plays at Rutgers and follows the blog and YOUTUBE videos. Thanks for stopping by with your family to say hello Scott. Looking forward to throwing some rounds at Rutgers with you real soon. Sorry for the blurry photo.

Monday Disc Golf at Manalapan and Rutgers and a righty Ace and a lefty Skip Ace plus lots of Skunks

Headed up to Manalapan Recreation Center Disc Golf Course after work on Monday for some rounds of Disc Golf. I got my 307th Ace on Hole 6 threading the shot through the branches in front of the basket.

After it got dark out I headed up to Rutgers for some more Disc Golf. I took this photo and was putting my tripod back in the car when I heard someone putting out on Hole 14. It was Steve and Jeff. I joined them after they played Hole 15.

Steve, Cubby, and Jeff.

Here we are taking a photo from the back of my car. 3 holes later I got my 308th Ace, a nice lefty Skip Ace on Hole 18 with an Innova Star Monster. Nice to have some fellow Disc Golfers around when I hit an Ace. This Ace is dedicated to my Mom's Yorkie, Heather. I call her Monster Monster as she likes to destroy stuff, but she is an adorable dog. Jeff left after the round and Steve and I continued on until midnight.

It was a fun night of Disc Golf. We saw lots of Skunks on the course. Here are some pics of the course locals.
